Turkey Trot

Fielding Panther Families:
This year’s Turkey Trot will be held on Tuesday, November 21st. 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be competing in a mile race. K, 1st, and 2nd graders will be competing in a ½ mile race. The boys and girls will compete in separate races. Each first place racer will earn themselves a turkey for Thanksgiving Dinner! Those coming in second will receive a yummy pie. We will recognize all of the winners Tuesday afternoon following all of the grade level races. All students will participate in the event (they may choose to walk). Our student council is preparing a special message for each student on the bottles of water they'll receive at the end of the race. Winners will be announced over the intercom. They will come to the front kiva to receive their prizes and have a picture taken.

Application for Toys for Tots

As the Christmas Holiday quickly approaches, we'd like to notify our Panther Families that we will be taking applications for Toys for Tots, sponsored by the Marine Corps.  If you are aware of a family needing some assistance this Christmas, please be sure to send them our way and we'll get them an application to complete. We kindly request that if families are receiving assistance via another entity, that you please don't apply at the school.  We'd sure like to reach out and help as many families as possible.
