School Fees Notice

Please know that the Utah Constitution prohibits the charging of fees to children in elementary school. In the next few weeks, some of our teachers will be seeking for donations and voluntary contributions to assist with classroom materials.  Some teachers may also provide parents with a "suggested student supply list." 5th Grade Graduation

We're sending out a special invitation to our 5th grade parents/guardians!  We'll be holding our special 5th grade graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 30th at 9:30 AM.  We invite you all to come and join in on the short celebration! 

Egg Drop...It's Going to be EGG-CITING!

Date:  Thursday, May 24th

Time: 12:30 PM

Location: Fielding Town Park

Your Mission: Design a container that will prevent an UNCOOKED chicken egg from breaking when dropped from a plane!

Rules:

• ONE ENTRY per family.
• Families must provide all needed supplies, including raw egg. Students are not required to participate, however, all students will watch the drop.
• All entries must be brought to the office no later than Wednesday, May 23rd. 
• No kits or pre-made designs may be used.
• The following items may not be used: parachutes, sharp objects, liquids, frozen liquids, propellants, wood, metal, glass, and gases. Any entry using any of these items will not be included in the drop.
• Entries may not be larger than 5 X 5 X 5. Any entries measuring larger than 5 X 5 X 5 will not be included in the drop. (We've got to fit everyone's inside the plane!) 
• Entries must be labeled with the students' first and last names.

Families are invited to attend the Egg Drop. 

It's Kindergarten Assessment Time!

Please know that due to the end of year kindergarten testing there will be NO SCHOOL held for all of our kindergarten students on Monday, May 14th and Tuesday, May 15th. Instead, Each of the students will meet individually with one of our kindergarten teachers to take his/her end of year assessment.

Color FUND Run

We are excited to announce Fielding Elementary's FIRST ANNUAL COLOR RUN!  We have chosen to host a fun community event for our school's fundraiser. Be sure to set aside the evening of Monday, May 7, 2018! Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 5:30.  The race is scheduled to begin right at 6:00!  All of the money earned from registration fees and sponsorships will be used to support our students! There are a few race options available.  Click on the link below to view a registration form.

In addition to the race, we will have hotdogs, drinks and cookies for sale.  A live band will provide some fun music and a photo booth will be available!  Entry forms are due to the office, on or before April 20, 2018.

It's Book Fair Week!

WOO-HOO! It's our Book Fair week! Our PTA is sponsoring the BOGO fair. They'll have the fair open during lunchtime all week. They will also be open on Wednesday and Thursday after school for one hour each day. With it being a BOGO, it's a great time to stock up on books! We appreciate our PTA providing this service for our students.
